Jim and Pat Grady opened Midnight Farms in 1997, located in the beautiful mountain village of Cashiers, North Carolina in the Blue Ridge Mountain.  In 2006,  Rhesa Grady, Jim and Pat’s daughter, came on board and is now co-owner, manager and buyer.  With a degree in business, Rhesa brings a fresh and new perspective to rustic elegance.  

  

Midnight Farms features a complete line of custom rustic furniture.  Jim, a professional woodworker for 30 years builds and designs his own line of furniture on the premises of the Cashiers store.  His inspiration comes from “the root of rustic style originating in the Adirondacks.  Roots, burls, bark, antlers and organics abounding in the Southern Appalachians are incorporated into each piece.  Exciting paint colors and glazes are often added to enhance the beauty of each piece.  He takes each piece to a new dimension.  These works of art portray “rustic elegance.”  Stop by Jim’s workshop if you’re in the area, located at the Cashiers store, to see his creations in the making.  Jim will create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece with exceptional detail and fine craftsmanship.
